When you invest in a Bath Planet bathroom renovation, your products are protected by a comprehensive Limited Lifetime Warranty from Bath Concepts Industries, LLC. This means your acrylic wall surrounds, shower floors, replacement bathtubs, bath liners, shower liners, seats, accessories, and Liquid Accents shower door systems are warranted against material and manufacturing defects for as long as you own your home.
For acrylic surfaces specifically, the warranty guarantees that your surfaces will not materially fade, yellow, crack, bubble, or peel under normal residential use — as long as you follow the recommended care instructions and use only approved cleaners.
Walk-in tubs are also covered, with lifetime protection on the bathtub shell, frame, door mechanism, and key components, plus extended warranties on finishes, motors, and electrical controls.

Good Housekeeping Seal
Bath Planet products carry the prestigious Good Housekeeping Seal, meaning they have been rigorously evaluated by the Good Housekeeping Institute. If a product bearing the seal proves to be defective within two years of purchase, Good Housekeeping will refund or replace it — an additional layer of consumer protection on top of the manufacturer warranty.

Acrylic Systems & Accessories
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Covers material and manufacturing defects. Acrylic surfaces are warranted not to fade, yellow, crack, bubble, or peel under normal residential use with approved care.
Liquid Accents & Shower Door Systems
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Covers material and manufacturing defects in Liquid Accents accessories and shower door system components manufactured by BCI. Glass panels and panes are excluded.
Walk-In Tubs — Shell & Frame
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Covers the bathtub shell, stainless steel frame, door mechanism, door handle, faucet, and vinyl door seal against defects.
Walk-In Tubs — Gel Coat Finish
10-Year Warranty
The gel coat bathtub finish is covered against material defects for 10 years from installation.
Walk-In Tubs — Motors & Electrical
5-Year Warranty
Motors, electrical controls, tubing, plastic fittings, drain and overflow, and all plated finishes are covered for 5 years.
Warranty Transferable
One-Time Transfer Allowed
The warranty may be transferred one time to a subsequent owner of the same home, provided the transfer is requested within 2 years of the original installation and BCI receives written notice within 30 days of transfer.

Drain Cleaner Caution
Liquid drain cleaners are recommended over powders or crystals. Before using a liquid drain cleaner, bail out standing water, remove the drain plug, and use a funnel to apply chemicals directly down the drain. Always ensure no chemicals contact the acrylic surface. Use drain cleaners sparingly so they do not boil out and damage the surface.
Mold & Mildew Prevention Tips
The Duraflex color-matched silicone sealant used in your installation is mildew-resistant, but no sealant is mildew-proof. High humidity, poor airflow, low light, and poor cleaning habits create ideal conditions for mold growth. Follow these tips to prevent it:
Ventilate
Use a bathroom fan or open a window after every shower. Good airflow draws excess steam out and keeps surfaces dry.
Keep It Dry
After showering, use a squeegee to wipe excess water off shower walls. Towel dry floors, walls, and the ceiling.
Clean Weekly
Clean the silicone bead and surfaces on a weekly basis with approved cleaners. Build-up of spores creates mold.
Reduce Clutter
Limit products stored inside the shower. Bottles, sponges, and toys create crevices where mold hides and grows.
